Since 2018, Imagéo, in collaboration with Checkin, has been developing the Making a Difference series for the African Development Bank. From conceptualization to realization, this long-term project, which brings infrastrcutres communities closer together, has taken our teams all over Africa. A total of 30 multimedia projects and 14 countries visited… and the work continues!

To notice this month the world premiereof the Jardin d’Afrique, lieu dit pour un non-dit, for three singers and nine instrumentalists by Benjamin Attahir on November 22, 2024 in Tourcoing, by the Ensemble Les Illuminations. This work, commissioned by the Ensemble, is the culmination of two years of work and the deployment of the first form for three cellos and voices, created in May 2023 at the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris. “When I first learned about the Illuminations project around Rachid Koraïchi’s Africa Garden, I immersed myself in reading the booklet and felt like a call,” wrote Benjamin Attahir. This is what you feel when you see the beauty of this ecumenical cemetery in Zarzis,Tunisia, which was inaugurated and listed by UNESCO in 2021.
